December 8, 2008, Tukwila, WA – ExOfficio, a Seattle-based adventure apparel outfitter, is collecting donations for Northwest Harvest at its various retail locations through Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Northwest Harvest supplies food to nearly 300 Washington state food banks annually.
Launching the food drive this last week, ExOfficio has already collected more than 1000 pounds of food for this local cause. Additionally, ExOfficio is offering 10 percent off its travel inspired apparel to those who donate.
ExOfficio has nurtured its relationship with Northwest Harvest through six years of service and contribution.
“Giving back to our community by working with Northwest Harvest has become a tradition for us and part of our culture,” said Bill Swan, Director of Operations and Administration, ExOfficio. “We are really excited about this year’s donation, and are looking forward to our future work with Northwest Harvest.”
